At Riot, we aspire to be the most player-focused game company in the world. We’re made up of individuals united by this passion for players (young and old) and obsess over every part of the gaming experience.
From a player’s first game to their thousandth win, from installation to ongoing support, learning initiatives to esports broadcasts – every step matters, and we believe there’s always more we can do.
Our debut title, League of Legends, was released in 2009 and (at the time of writing) has over 100 million people playing every month around the globe.
Throughout the years, we’ve seen how important concepts like fair play and sportsmanship are to building a stronger and more productive community, but these aren’t concepts everyone instinctively learns without guidance.
The Learn with League initiative was formed through the belief that young people, when given support and structure from teachers and parents, can use technology to collaboratively learn and prepare for greater success in life.
We believe gaming can help the next generation grow into conscientious digital citizens, and we want to do our part to make the future better for them and those around them.
We all learn through play. By providing the tools and environments that focus on collaboration and understanding, we can connect with young people to lay the base for a positive future online and offline.
