Clubs are where young people can learn and practise the values of sportsmanship and appropriate online behaviour while doing something they love.

By building authentic shared game experiences, clubs create a fertile environment for learning about concepts like self-regulation, balance and health in work and play.

Teachers and parents play a key role in supervising and guiding club activities. They also have an opportunity to learn about the new digital landscape that today’s young people occupy, taking advantage of the teachable moments that club members create to nurture them towards positive and productive behaviour.

How can I set up a club?

You don’t need to be a technical expert, gamer, or even play League of Legends to start a club. As mentioned above, the main job of a facilitator is behavioural observation and guidance on becoming a conscientious digital citizen.
